Built on the foundation of Jam Master Jay and Run-DMC, the pioneers of hip-hop, this star-studded entertainment special event's aim is to show the world "the most positive aspects of rap."

The event is presented by The Jam Master Jay Foundation for Music in partnership with EPOP International and supported by adidas, The Fader and Hot 97.

The first ever NYC Hair & Beauty Expo at The Hammerstein Music Hall. The event was a packed house of savvy hair enthusiasts. The focus on bringing awareness to products & techniques popularized by the styling industry.

Why in the Hell does LIL MAMA look more like GRANDmama...
It seems crazy that Angie looks totally 10 - 20 years younger & fresher in the face, than the teenage rapper on the red carpet of the event.

Touching down in NYC for his first live stage performance at Club Duvet. I was fortunate to meet Gucci Mane for the first time. I found him to be a very down to earth artist. He has a certain air of opulence without the over doing it factor.

Mr Cee did his thing on the 1's & 2's...
He kept the crowd hype with anticipation for the showcase by Gucci Mane. The crowd packed Duvet & were in full party mode on a Sunday night. Mind you Gucci Man didn't touch the stage till like three in morning...

The crowd partied, drank & danced the night away with Gucci Mane tearing the frame out the place with a great performance.
